When my Audi gets out of the body shop, I'm going to treat my car to some new wheels.
Car is a 2008 Audi A4 S-Line. Here is an extremely old picture of it. Since that picture, I have de-badged it.
The previous owner was a not-so-good parker, and the two curb side wheels are beat to hell. Also after 85,000 miles from him and 5,000 from me, brake dust is caked on for good, and I need some input.
Those are the wheels I currently have.
So far, RH Cuprad Zw4 is my top contender. But damn expensive
Harttman Euromesh is the next possibility
And finally, Bbs Ch. If they weren't so damn pricey.

I like the 2nd wheel the most. But then, the 2nd wheel looks like your current wheel, just with an increased diameter and in a different color
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:17 |

And the car they'll be going on is...?
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:17 |
|
Yeah, brake dust is a bitch to get off my current wheels, so I might pass on the Harttman Euromesh.

These are my favorite of the lot.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:17 |

Enkei RPFs.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:17 |

Y U NO MODEL OR WHEEL SIZE!?
Assuming you stick with 17" wheels the CH's should look good.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:17 |
|
Sorry, should have made that more clear. 2008 Audi A4 S-Line, Ibis white.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:18 |

These all day long.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:19 |
|
What kind of budget do you have? Are you going to get in the stock size and re-use the tires or will you also need tires?
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:20 |
|
What Audi? Those second wheels look the best in my opinion.

If I can find the 5 lug conversion I had for this 5000TQ I will buy those old rims off you for my 100Q!

Just for the lulz

Yeah, my nemesis brake dust would have me on my hands and knees all day long Haha.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:26 |

Thanks for the offer! After I purchase the new wheels, I will get back to you.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:27 |

My vote. Because Lamborghini.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:27 |

How about some steelies? :p
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:27 |
|
They probably look good enough on my car.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:27 |
|
Those Harttmans were really tempting me Haha.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:28 |
|
Now that. That is the answer I was looking for! Nothing like some steelies!

lol i was hoping you would take that the right way
![]() 03/12/2014 at 16:59 |

Is that for just wheels, or wheels and tires?
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:02 |
|
Probably for both. I'd prefer to keep it on the low end though.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:08 |
|
No pain, no gain :D
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:08 |

Buddy Club P1s light and fresh as fuck
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:11 |
|
Haha, they are also darker colors, so I wouldn't have to clean them every other second of the day.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:13 |
|
You better. Mine are the same color, but I don't notice the brake dust a lot. Unless I clean one particular bit and miss a spot, I can hardly tell.

Hmm, I'm stuck. Either get the car some new shoes. Or some Plasti Dip, and a project car.

Playing around on Tire Rack I found the following:
Enkei TSP6
Enkei M52:
Enkei Raijin:
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:17 |
|
I'd do shoes. Unless you want a project car more.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:17 |
|
Thanks for the Pics! The 3rd looks the nicest. I'll look into it.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:18 |
|
Yeah, the current wheels are mildly strange looking. A project would be fun, but I do need nicer wheels, and a little moar low.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:21 |
|
How about these? Except with less stretch!
Another angle
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:21 |

Keep in mind that those are "hyper silver" which generally has a little more bling to it than regular silver painted wheels. It's still paint so not as blingy as a polished or chrome wheel, but just as an example here's a pic of the 949 Racing 6UL wheels I had on my old Miata with a similar finish.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:23 |
|
Me Gusta. Volks?
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:23 |
|
Those wheels look nice Haha. I'm not one for bling though. First order of business is to rip all the chrome off my car.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:24 |
|
Haha, close they are Rota Grids, so Volk TE37 replicas. Pretty cheap, and they work pretty well. Are you going to be tracking or autocrossing?
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:27 |
|
Yeah the pic of the Raijins doesn't really show the "hyper" finish right so wanted to make sure you had a good idea of what they look like. Here are some better shots. I don't think they're too blingy (granted, we've already established that I've owned wheels with a similar finish) but that's up to you.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:32 |
|
Occasionally. With my old car, I did all the time. I'm getting some performance parts in, so I'm going to be doing more Track/Autocross.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:33 |
|
That looks nice. They don't look overly shiny, so that's good.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:37 |
|
I guess it depends on how much you trust the wheels. I am getting a set of Rotas as summer wheels for autocrossing, tracking, and daily driving. If you have a bigger budget go look at other things, I on the other hand am trying to save money. They are used by race teams though. . .
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:55 |
|
Lower profile tire? Or lower your car? Also, what Audi is it?
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:55 |
|
Yeah, Better for the wallet would be best. Thanks for the tips, Rota makes good products I hear, so I might fall for some.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:56 |
|
It's an 08 A4 2.0T, picture taken with an actual Idaho Potato is at the top.
I might lower it slightly, but no stance for me.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 17:57 |
|
Oh derp. Lol. Those can be a lot of fun. I'd say go with tires and lower it! Just enough tho
![]() 03/12/2014 at 18:01 |
|
Yeah, I'd lower it an inch about. I'm going to order Unitronic Stage 2 performance chips, for as your name suggests Powaaah.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 18:02 |
|
Lol, need moar Powaaah! that's cool tho, what are the expected gains?
![]() 03/12/2014 at 18:04 |
|
Haha, According to the website, 60 extra Hp, 295 Torque. Only issue is I'd have to buy a downpipe also.
![]() 03/12/2014 at 18:20 |
|
Those are huge gains. And 295?! Tell me there's a typo
![]() 03/12/2014 at 18:28 |
|
295 Lb of Torque after the tune I think. Stock is 207. Should be some good gains.
